In order to avoid being dismissed, Eric Ciotti decided to close the doors of his party headquarters. A reaction which greatly amused Guillaume Kasbarian.
Threatened with being excluded from the party he chairs, Eric Ciotti will not participate in the decisive political office of the Republicans this Wednesday, June 12 at 3 p.m., where his executives intend to “dismiss” him at all costs after his alliance with the National Rally. And he even went further. In fact, the president of the LR has decided to do close his party headquarters at midday.
“I hear a lot of talk about the closure of the LR headquarters. I made this decision following the threats received and the disorder yesterday,” explained Éric Ciotti on X at the beginning of the afternoon. I must guarantee the safety of the staff. In addition, no meeting has ever been scheduled at headquarters this afternoon,” he added.
Guillaume Kasbarian’s tackle
This confirms his intention to hold on to his position. He had already stated that “only activists could take away (him)” his position acquired by a short head at the end of 2022. It did not take more to attract mockery.
On And he continues: “Dear friends of @LesRepublicains, here’s how to do it”. He adds the various legal texts which make it possible to evict squatters.
The Kasbarian-Berg law plans in particular to triple the sanctions incurred by squatters up to 3 years in prison and a fine of 45,000 euros.
In addition, the offense of entry into the home also concerns second homes, and extends the express eviction procedure, without recourse to a judge, to vacant accommodation, empty of furniture. Thus, the victim files a complaint, has the occupation noted and contacts the prefect who orders the squatter to leave within 48 hours. The forced evacuation is carried out between 24 hours (if it concerns the home) and 7 days (for another residential premises).
The text also speeds up procedures in the event of unpaid rent. In particular, lease contracts systematically provide for an “automatic termination clause”, which the owner can activate without having to take legal action. The judge can grant the tenant a payment deadline, but on condition that the latter seizes it.
It should be noted that Eric Ciotti voted in the second reading in the National Assembly in favor of this bill aimed at protecting housing against illegal occupation, as evidenced by the records of the Assembly.
