Fahmaan Khan reveals Ishq Mein Marjawan director abused him: ‘I slapped myself’

Fahman Khan played the role of CBI officer Randheer Khurana in the romantic thriller television series, Love in Marjawan which aired from 2017 to 2019. It also starred Arjun Bijlani, Aalisha Panwar, Nia Sharma and Sonarika Bhadoria. The series was directed by Kushal Zaveri and Akhilesh Bhagat. In a recent interview, Fahmaan recalled being verbally abused by the director on the sets due to his acting skills.

Fahmaan Khan makes a big revelation

Fahmaan Khan said that the director was not happy with his acting skills and so he once took it out on him on the sets. “Some people would say it to my face, some wouldn’t. When I was shooting Ishq Mein Marjawan, the director insulted me a lot (laughs),” he told Pinkvilla.

Fahmaan recalls the time he was asked to memorise an 8-page script in an hour. When he couldn’t do it, the director insulted him in front of everyone. “I was completely mad wondering how I would be able to memorise all this in such a short time. After 7-8 takes, the director said, ‘kisko lekar aaya hai yaar? Line tak yaad nahi hoti aur phir 2-3 gali baki usne (Who have you brought? He can’t even memorise his lines and then he insulted me 2-3 times). I went back to my room, slapped myself and decided to give it a try. I took the script and did it,” Khan said.

Fahman Khan’s career

Fahmaan Khan is currently starring in Krishna Mohini. He made his acting debut with a cameo role in the television series Yeh Vaada Raha in 2015. Khan is best known for playing Dr. Veer Pratap Singh Rajawat in Apna Time Bhi Aayega and Aryan Singh Rathore in Imlie. Fahmaan is the stepson of actor Yusuf Khan and the half-brother of actor Faraaz Khan.

Fahmaa was last seen in Ektaa Kapoor’s Pyaar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatani.
