The Costa Magica cruise ship, belonging to its fleet Mario Iliopoulos will sail to the port of Brindisi from June 9, acting as a floating hotel for the police forces who will participate in the G7 which will take place in the Puglia region.
According towith the maritime brokerage company Ferrando & Massone:
“The ship Mykonos Magic, which is the former Costa Magica, was chartered directly to the Ministry of the Interior by a company belonging to the Seajets group. The police force will be accommodated on board for the duration of the G7.
About two months ago, representatives of the Ministry and the Police inspected the ship with another cruise unit, but ultimately chose the larger one.
The ship will arrive in Brindisi early in the morning of June 9 and will remain there until the evening of June 17, upon completion of all G7-related operations.
Each cabin will accommodate a maximum of two passengers. three daily meals will be provided, again at the shipowner’s expense, for approximately 2,600 people per day.
